DQS receive Hoang Sa Vessel and VSP-05 Barges to repair

On 20/122013, Dung Quat Shipyard (DQS) has received Hoang Sa Vessel and VSP-05 Barges, owwner Vietsovpetro (VSP) to Dock No. 1 of DQS to maintain and repair.

Hoang Sa Vessel is 125 meters in length, 36m in width, 8m in height, tonnage of over 13.000 tons, capable of lifting up to 1,200 Tons, ranging from 21m to nearly 40m.

According to the signed contract, repairing time is expected 100 days with  items as maintenance, overhauling crane system, anchor winch, tugger, two main generators, entire high-capacity engines, repairing pipe system, valves, replacing steel plate, furniture, painting whole ship ...

VSP-05 Barges is 110m in length, 32m in width, 7m in height, with  tonnage of 15.000 tons. Estimated repairing time is days, including main items as blasting and painting 28.000 m2, repairing two generators, two pumps, replacing 193 valves and 2.458m of pipes ...

This is the second time these products are repaired in DQS. VSP-05 Barges were repaired, converted and successful delivered  in Feb, 2011. Hoang sa Vessel is repaired and delivered in Dec, 2012.

DQS has organized assigning work to every engineers, workers, DQS determine to finish these products safely, in schedule and quality assurance.
