Delivery of Sao Mai-01 vessel after repairing

Sao Mai-01 Vessel is one of Anchor Handling Tug Supply vessel of  VIETSOVPETRO Joint Venture. Its dimension is 64.4 m long, 13.8 m wide with the load of 1,550 tons and main engine of 9,000 HP. The Vessel has duty to serve the floating facilities in anchoring operation, transport and supply diesel oil, cement, food, fresh water etc .. to drilling rigs, offshore platforms.

Dungquat Shipyard delivered the Sao Mai-01 vessel to VIETSOVPETRO Joint Venture in morning of  Aug 19th, 2011, about one month since the date coming to our dock.

To achieve these results, Dungquat Shipyard (DQS) has mobilized over 100 engineers and highly skilled workers in more than 40 days to hardly working on repairing the main machines, generators, pipes, shaft, pumps, equipments as well as replacing toles, interior decorating and painting ...

The completion of repairing and delivery the Sao Mai-01 vessel - the modern service vessel built in Norway. This is a major step in for DQS after the successes in other works such as barge conversion VSP-05 of VIETSOVPETRO in February 2011 and repairing of PVTran’s 33,000 tons PVT EAGLE oil tanker in July 2011.
