DQS delivered Vietsovpetro-01 F.S.O
After 3 months of repairing, on 15th August 2012, Dung Quat Shipyard (DQS) delivered the VSP01 (FSO) for the ship owner Vietsovpetro. This is one of the largest oil storage vessels in Vietnam.
The VSP-01 is built in 2000 in Japan, the largest length: Lmax = 262.40 m. The widest Bmax = 46.0 m. Depth H = 23.90 m. Height of design waterline design: T = 16.84 m. Capacity: 154,146 tons. DQS has completed the following items: Dynamic part: the technology pipe system, oil drying pipe systems, fire fighting pipe systems, fire, inert gas pipe systems. Machinery and equipment part: boiler, automatic mooring systems, installation of 02 new winch, repair of 03 old winch. Electric part: repair electric system activities, power of the boiler, replacement of tank level automatic measuring devices measuring. Hull part: replacement of steel plate (160 tons), installation of new handles of 200 tons, trial of hydraulic for all tank (40 tanks). Anti-corrosion part: cleaning and painting with total area of 300,000 m2.
