DQS has successfully delivered the Murmanskaya rig

On June 24th 2013, in Dung Quat Economic Zone (Quang Ngai), Dung Quat Shipbuilding Industry Company Ltd. (Dung Quat Shipyard - DQS, affiliates PVN) has successfully delivered the Murmanskaya rig to the owner ARKTIKMORNEFTEGAZRAZVEDKA.JOSC (RUSSIA).

Murmanskiya has length 88.0m, wide 66.0m, height 9.7m, body length 146.0m…. The main repairing items at DQS: Blasting and painting entire the rig.

Right after the rig come into Dock safety, DQS engineers & workers have drained and cleaned the hull to prepare for the next repairing stages. After 20 days of repairing, DQS has completed items as required in the contract and implemented arising items.

Speaking at the delivery ceremony, Mr. VLADIMIR SHEVYAKIN, Rig’s Owner  representative shared that: after 20 days of repairing, DQS has completed on schedule, ensured quality and met requirements of Registration, owners. He are also very thankful for taking care of our crew and supervisors during the time in Dung Quat Shipyard .

From beginning of the year to present, Dung Quat Shipbuilding Industry Company Ltd. has repaired and successfully delivered the Tam Dao 01 jack up rig to Vietsovpetro.
