DQS activity

On 6/3/2013, Dung Quat Shipbuilding Industry Company Ltd. (DQS) has received the Murmanskaya rig of ARKTIKMORNEFTEGAZRAZVEDKA.JOSC (RUSSIA) into the Dry Dock No. 1 of DQS for repairing, and maintenance.

In the morning of 05/04/2013, Leaders of Petrovietnam has appointed Decision for Mr. Nguyen Van Hoi - Chairman of Dung Quat Shipyard (DQS) and Mr. Duc Tien Ta - Vice President of Board of Management of Total Petroleum Technical Services Corporation (PTSC).

On March 27th, in Dung Quat Economic Zone (Quang Ngai), Dung Quat Shipt Shipyard - DQS subsidiary of Petrovietnam has successfully handed over Tam Dao 01 rig to Vietssopetro after three months of repairing.

After 6 months of officially operation, on 03/11/2013, Dung Quat Shipyard (DQS) is ​​awarded Occupational Health and Safety System - OHSAS 18001:2007 by ISC and Environmental Management System - ISO 14001:2004 after two times of strictly evaluation.

On November 20th, in Dung Quat Economic Zone (Quang Ngai), Youth Union of Petrovietnam (PVN) in collaboration with the Dung Quat Shipbuilding Industry Company Ltd. (Dung Quat Shipyard - DQS), PVN members held a ceremony to launch 90 day of repairing Tam Dao 01 jack up rig.

In the morning of 15/10/2012, Dung Quat Shipbuilding Industry Company Ltd. (DQS) has received Tam Dao 01 jack-up rig (Tam Dao 01) of Vietsovpetro to the No. 1 Dock of DQS for repairing and maintenance.

After 3 months of repairing, on 15th August 2012, Dung Quat Shipyard (DQS) delivered the VSP01 (FSO) for the ship owner Vietsovpetro. This is one of the largest oil storage vessels in Vietnam.

After completion building the vessel, at 12 p.m on 24th May 2012, Dung Quat Shipyard (DQS) together  with ship Owner, ABS Registry performed sea trial the 104,000 DWT Crude Oil Tanker named PVT MERCURY, Shipowner- Petrovietnam Transportation Corporation (PVTrans).

In the morning of 18th May 2012, the Management Board of Dung Quat Economic Zone, Quang Ngai province granted an investment certificate Pier No.2 - Dung Quat General Port combine with the function of completing ship for Dung Quat Shipyard (DQS).

In the afternoon of 12th April 2012, Petrovietnam CEO Do Van Hau had a meeting with Dung Quat Shipbuilding Industry Company  Ltd.(DQS). Attending the meeting were Deputy General Director Vu Quang Nam, representatives of departments of the Group, Leaders of DQS, PVTrans.
