DQS Youth Union held a ceremony to launch 40 peak day of repairing Hoang Sa vessel

In the morning of 06th Feb,2014 in Drydock No. 1, Dung Quat Shipyard(DQS), DQS Youth Union held a ceremony to launch 40 peak day of repairing Hoang Sa vessel. Attending the ceremony are Chairman Ta Duc Tien, DQS Communist Party Secretary and Mr. Tran Hoai An, General Director and Mr. Huynh Van Dieu, Deputy General Director, Department Managers and hundreds of youth union members, workers.

On behalf of the company, Mr. Phan Van Nam encourage: " All young people shall take an effort, try their best  with spirit and responsibility of youth, we will deliver Hoang Sa vessel to Vietsovpetro on 20th Mar,2014 with best quality, highest safety ".

Hoang Sa crane vessel  is one of the key products of Vietsovpetro, started repairing on 20th Dec, 2013. Hoang Sa crane vessel  is 125 meters in length, 36m in width, 8m in height, tonnage of over 13,000 tons, capable of lifting up to 1,200 tons, the reach from 21m to nearly 40m. At time of starting the movement, there are more than 40 days for raparing the remain items such as painting, farbricating hull structure, repairing, maintening and  replacing details related to crane,  anchor system, propulsion device, pipe - valve system, air conditioner  system , generators and DC motors, furniture, timber on deck, electricity ...

Speaking at the ceremony Mr. Tran Hoai An , General Director greatly appreciated the achievements of all staffs and workers of the Company during last time. However, in order to deliver the vessel to Vietsovpetro timely, all departments and workshops should assign specific tasks to every staffs and workers to produce properly: overtime working, increase useful working time, pay attention to the quality, take priority to safety issues in construction, as  well as and maximum saving consumables in production, avoid wasting materials; These organizations encourage working , create the enthusiasm to work on site box with determination to deliver vessel timely, safety and quality.
